Reviews and Ratings
We had a great time at Rivers Edge, enjoying comfortable accommodations and a beautiful setting by the Chena River. The friendly and helpful staff really made our stay enjoyable, and the breakfast buffet exceeded our expectations. However, we felt the pricing for our extra night was quite steep, and the bathroom facilities could have been cleaner. Overall, it was a memorable stay with a few minor drawbacks.
The resort provided a pleasant stay with spacious, clean cabins and beautiful views of the Chena River, which definitely enhanced the experience. While the breakfast offered a decent variety, I wished for more options beyond the buffet. The location is convenient for accessing Fairbanks attractions, but transport might be tricky without a car. Overall, it’s a great value for the quality of stay, especially if you're seeking a unique Alaskan experience.
I had a lovely overnight stay at this resort, thanks to the hardworking and caring staff who went above and beyond to help us when my husband got sick. The cabins were cozy and clean, but I found the soundproofing between units could use some improvement. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, and I particularly enjoyed the outdoor dining options by the river. It's well-located for exploring Fairbanks, but the road noise can be bothersome at times.
The resort offers a unique Alaskan experience with charming cabins that are spacious and well-maintained. The staff is incredibly accommodating and helpful, making sure guests have everything they need for a pleasant stay. However, the dining options could use improvement as the breakfast was not included and the options were fairly mediocre. Transportation to and from the airport is convenient, but it’s important to plan ahead if you wish to explore beyond the resort.
Our stay was delightful in a private and rustic cottage along the Chena River. The charming atmosphere, combined with clean accommodations and helpful staff, made for a lovely retreat. However, we encountered some noise issues and inconsistent Wi-Fi during our visit, which detracted slightly from the overall experience. Still, the breakfast was enjoyable, and the proximity to local attractions was a huge plus.
